Terms and Conditions
Bookings made through the online booking system are provisional until confirmed.
1. Cancellations will only be accepted if a minimum of 10 days’ notice is given, this excludes camp site, no refund is given upon booking.
£15 admin fee will be deducted from cancellation refunds.
In addition.
2. Security deposit. 7 days prior to arrival a security deposit of £500.00 on packages 1,2 and 3 will be applied to your credit card, 5 days after departure this will be released less any deductions for damages etc. A security deposit of £750.00 applies to packages 4. (Only applicable for guests staying in Lodge). The Shepherd’s Hut package has a security deposit of £150.00.
3.. We reserve the right to refuse access to any guests exhibiting unacceptable or antisocial behaviour, under which circumstances no reimbursement of booking charges will be due.
4.. We will not accept any liability for any damage to, or loss of any personal property while on site. Any complaints must be made during the stay to give us the opportunity to rectify any problems; any complaints made after departure will not be accepted. We are relieved of any liability should, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Lodge becomes unavailable or unsuitable for letting. Any money paid will be reimbursed in full and the booking will be cancelled.
5.We reserve the right to levy a cleaning charge, starting from £50, if the Lodge & facilities are left in a particularly poor condition e.g. breakages, spillages, linen damage etc
6.Our Hot tubs/Saunas and Steam room are prepared to the highest standard before your arrival. STRICTLY….All topical products such as make-up, false tan must be removed before entering above. A cleaning charge of £195 will apply to cover the replacement of filters etc. if this is not adhered.
7. The Lodge is strictly non-smoking & no pets are allowed. Any evidence to suggest that there has been smoking,or pets in the Lodge will lead to additional cleaning charges.
8. The Lodge is cleaned, and all linen and towels are changed between lettings, and weekly for longer letting periods.
9. Hot tub/Sauna/Steam room dos and don’ts displayed at each location must be read and adhered to.
10. We ask that any noise outside of the Lodge i.e. music playing, has ended by 10:30pm, this is to ensure all guests on site plus local neighbours can expect a quiet and relaxing evening.
11.Check in is 2pm checkout 11am
12. No under 18s unless accompanied by a adults permitted to stay overnight in the Lodge.
13.The Facilities on offer within the lodge are solely for guests staying overnight at, The Lodge. Visiting friends and family are not permitted to use any facility on site unless agreed with management prior to vacation.A visiting Charge of £75 per visiting guest will be applied.
14. Should any of the above happen the credit card used to make the booking will be automatically deducted.
15. The security deposit will be authorised 7 days before your arrival and will be refunded 5 days after your departure.
CCTV Policy
1. Purpose of CCTV
The Lodge at Quarterland Bay employs Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems both
inside and outside the building for the safety of our guests and the protection of our property.
2. Location of CCTV Cameras
- Inside the Building: CCTV cameras are installed in communal areas including:
– Halls
– Kitchen
– Games Room
- Outside the Building: CCTV cameras are installed around the exterior premises for security purposes.
- Exclusions: No CCTV cameras are installed in private areas such as bedrooms, toilets, and changing rooms.
3. Usage of CCTV Recordings
The recordings from the CCTV cameras are used for the following purposes:
- Ensuring the safety and security of our guests.
- Protecting the property from theft, vandalism, and other damages.
- Monitoring and managing the lodge when accommodating large groups (up to 24 guests).
4. Data Retention
- All CCTV recordings are retained for a period of 14 days.
- Recordings are automatically overwritten after this period unless required for investigative or legal purposes.
5. Privacy Assurance
The Lodge at Quarterland Bay respects the privacy of all guests. The use of CCTV is strictly for safety and security purposes, and the footage will not be used for any other purposes without prior consent, except where legally required.
By staying at The Lodge at Quarterland Bay, guests acknowledge and accept the presence and use of CCTV as outlined above.
